Casilda LAETHEM
Member of the Paris Bar
After graduating from the Universities of Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and Lyon III with a master’s degree in criminal science and a master’s degree in criminal law, Casilda LAETHEM turned to victimology and compensation law.
She worked for FENVAC (Fédération Nationale des Victimes d’Attentats et d’Accidents Collectifs – National Federation of Victims of Attacks and Mass Casualties) before taking her oath as a lawyer in 2019 and graduating with a degree in ‘Personal Injury Law’ from Toulouse 1 Capitole University, ‘Assessment of Head Injuries’ from Versailles Saint-Quentin University and ‘Medical Litigation’ from Paris Cité University.
For more than five years, she worked at VAN TESLAAR AVOCATS as an associate of Sebastian VAN TESLAAR, a lawyer specialising in personal injury compensation.
She is also a member of the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL), an association of European lawyers defending victims of personal injury, and therefore works in both English and French.
Today, Casilda LAETHEM is fully committed to assisting victims of assault, individual or collective accidents, or medical errors, both in France and beyond its borders. She devotes herself exclusively to defending their interests, to obtain the fair compensation to which they are legitimately entitled.
